Description: |
Branched annual herb, up to 1.5 m high. Leaves 4-16 cm long, 2-3 times irregularly divided into linear segments. Capitula in lax terminal heads on peduncles up to 80 mm long. Ray-florets 5-8, 2-3 cm long, yellow. Disc florets yellow to brown. |

Habitat: | In rocky grassland and woodland on mountain slopes, sometimes in disturbed areas. |
