Description: |
Suffrutex with erect branches up to 1 m high. Milky sap present. Leaves opposite, more or less narrowly ovate, 3.5-5.5 cm long, yellowish-green on both surfaces, hairless; petiole 3-4 mm long. Flowers in terminal and lateral, few-flowered clusters, white tinged pink, sweetly scented. Fruit obovoid to pear-shaped, up to 6.5 cm long, yellow to orange with scattered brownish lenticels, edible. |
