Single stem perennial herb from woody rootstock, stems light grey-green, hair covered, leaves trifoliate densely and evenly spaced along length of stem; branches upright, plenty from mid way up stem; fowers bright yellow, in tight grooupw at tips, buds covered in grey hairs.
