Exell, A.W. (1966) Sapindaceae Flora Zambesiaca 2(2)
Large or small trees or shrubs. Leaves paripinnate, shortly petiolate or sub-sessile; leaflets 2–5 pairs, lowest often resembling stipules. Inflorescence a terminal or axillary paniculate or racemoid thyrse. Flowers actinomorphic; sepals 5, almost free; petals 5, each with a short broad scale. Fruit capsular, 3-gonous, 3-locular, loculicidally dehiscent. Seeds 1 per loculus, ellipsoid, with an arillode at the base. Zambia: 1 taxon. |
