Plants up to 60 cm tall; corms 8-12 mm in diameter, tunics brown, fibres reticulate; foliage leaves 6, lower 4 leaves longest, upper 2 largely to entire sheathing, blades of lower leaves sub-linear, 4-6 mm wide, margins not thickened; flowering stem unbranched slightly inclined; spike second, 5-7 flowered; bracts green becoming white-membranous at tips when dry, outer 18-25 mm long with inner two thirds as long; flowers bilabiate, white, 3 lower tepals each with bilobed purple median mark on midline; perianth tube ±8 mm long, tepals ovate, ±20 x 8 mm. |
