Much branched erect shrub or shrubby herb up to 4 m tall; leaves often absent at time of flowering, glabrous, lamina ovate to elliptic, 4-5 x 1.5-2.5 cm; flowers solitary in racemiform cymes congested into large terminal panicles 10-30 cm long sticky to the touch; calyx 8-10 mm; corolla white with purple markings on lower lip and pink on the outside of the tube, 2.7-3.1 cm long; capsule 2.8-3.4 cm long; seeds kidney-shaped, not compressed, smooth, c. 5 x 6 mm. |
