Suffrutex, much-branched, erect or procumbent, 30-75 cm tall; stems with dense long appressed or ascending buff-coloured hairs, with shorter, finer spreading hairs on two opposite sides. Inflorescence usually congested into a short spike.3.5-11 cm long terminating main and short lateral branches, sometimes more widely spaced and axillary, each cyme single flowered, sessile. Calyx outer lobes with darker venation. Corolla lobes blue, adaxial pair absent or obsolete. |
