| Description: |
Rhizomatous acaulescent or sub-acaulescent perennial herb; aerial stems absent or up to 1 cm long. Leaves in 3-5 decussate pairs appressed to ground, largest 14-19 x 4.5-6 cm, more than three times as long as wide. Inflorescence a capitulum 1.5-3 cm across on a peduncle 0-5 mm long. Differs from C. kaessneri in the larger, narrow leaves, narrower bristly bracts, smaller calyx and smaller corolla lobes. |
