Burrows & Burrows: ‘undoubtedly most closely related to Ficus petersii and perhaps should be a subspecies of the latter. However, we feel that as it has such a distinctive appearance in the wild, which does not resemble Ficus petersii, it should be regarded as a full species.’ |
