Description:
Erect annual, (15)30–75 cm tall, developing ascending branches from near the base upwards; stem densely silvery spreading pilose, the hairs 1–2 mm long and twisted when dried. Leaves 3-foliolate; leaflets 8–20 × 2–7 mm, oblong-oblanceolate, obtuse, pilose on both surfaces, ± silky beneath; petiole 2–4 mm long; stipules 0. Racemes sessile, 3–12 cm long, densely 12–60-flowered, with other flowers in the axils below; bracts leaf-like, 6–12 × 2–5 mm, elliptic-lanceolate; pedicels 1–2(3 in fruit) mm long; bracteoles 0. Calyx 6–7 mm long, silky tomentose; lobes triangular-lanceolate, 2–3 times as long as the tube. Standard obovate, yellow, silky tomentose outside; wings as long as the keel; keel 6–8 mm long, subangular, with a narrow twisted beak hooked inwards at the tip. Pod sessile, 6–7 × 4–5 mm, ovoid to ovoid-ellipsoid, silky pilose, 6–10-seeded. Seeds 1.5–1.8 mm long, oblique-cordiform, smooth.
