Description:

Shrub or tree. Leaves elliptic to ovate, 4.5-12 cm long, long acuminate, leathery, single-veined from the base with midrib impressed above, prominent beneath, lateral veins inconspicuous; margin entire; petiole 3-7 mm long. Inflorescences in many-flowered axillary heads up to 4 cm long. Flowers whitish with deep violet or blue stamens. Fruit globose, 6-8 mm in diameter, pale green. |
