Description: |
Sparsely branched perennial up to 200 cm tall. Stems violet-purple, hairy but not glandular. Leaves opposite, subsessisle, oblanceolate-elliptic, 3-10 cm long, rather stiff; margin crenate to somewhat toothed. Inflorescence of several globose or elongated, dense clusters, sometimes all contracted into one. Bracts and calyces violet-purple, hairy. Corolla, pale violet or blue; tube 6-12 mm long; upper lip shallowly 4-lobed, lower lip boat-shaped. |
