Description: |
Perennial herb up to 6o cm tall, not noticeably aromatic. Stems 4-angled, densely whitish hairy, particularly towards the top and inflorescence. Leaves opposite, (sub)sessile, ascending to more or less pressed against the stem, elliptic, 3-6 cm long, sparsely hairy; margin serrate, rolled under. Inflorescence more or less densely flowered, spike-like but often with 2 shorter branches below the base of the central inflorescence. Flowers pink or mauve, densely whitish hairy. |
