Description: |
Slender annual herb, 20-60 cm, unbranched or sparingly branched above. Leaves 6-10 × 0.3-0.6 cm, linear, irregularly shallowly dentate, glabrous to sparingly pubescent, densely gland-dotted, tapering to a narrow petiole-like base; apex acute. Inflorescence a dense spike, 1-3 cm. Calyx teeth 5 mm, becoming spiny after flowering. Corolla deep blue, occasionally pale pink to almost white, 4-5 mm. |
