Description: |
Scrambling shrub with simple coiled tendrils in the axils of the leaves. Branches hairy. Leaves opposite, broadly ovate to almost round, up to 5 cm long, 3-5-veined from the base, shiny dark green above, hairy, leathery. Flowers in many-flowered terminal and axillary heads, white to pale yellow. Fruits ellipsoid, 1 - 1.5 cm long, soft, yellow to orange when ripe. |
