Description: |
Robust perennial herb up to 1 m tall. Stems often reddish. Leaves subsessile, more or less broadly elliptic to lanceolate, up to 6 cm long, surface and margin usually dotted with blackish glands. Inflorescences in axillary and terminal racemes up to 30 cm long. Flowers c. 3.8 mm long, white, pink or mauve, covered with short stalked glands, Fruit a globose capsule 3-5 mm in diameter, splitting into 5 erect valves. |
