Description: |
Suffrutex up to 60 cm. Leaves 8-12 × 1-2 cm, narrowly elliptic to oblanceolate; base cuneate to truncate; apex obtuse to subacute; margin spinous-serrate. Inflorescence axillary, racemose or pseudumbellate; pedicels articulated at or close to the base. Sepals 5-8 mm in flower, becoming crimson and increasing to 9-13 mm long. Petals orange to orange-yellow. Carpels 5. Fruits 5-7 mm, subspherical. |
