| Description: |
Deciduous shrub c. 1·5 m tall or small tree; most parts greyish hairy. Leaves alternate, 3-foliolate; leaflets sessile, more or less narrowly elliptic 1·8–4·5 cm long, papery, sparsely dotted with minute pellucid glands, softly velvety on both surfaces, blunt or sometimes emarginate at the apex; margin slightly crenulate; petiole 1–3 cm long, narrowly winged. Inflorescence a terminal branched head, 2–4 cm long and 2–3 cm in diameter. Flowers small, greenish-white to yellowish, unisexual. Sepals 4, united into a shortly lobed calyx 0·8–1·1 mm long. Petals 4, narrowly elliptic 4·5–5 mm long. Fruit fleshy, ellipsoid, c.1.3 cm long, smooth, blackish. |
