Description: |
Scrambling shrub or small tree; bark yellowish to brown, corky; strong, woody, curving paired tendrils often present. Leaves mostly clustered on short spur-branchlets, elliptic, obovate or oblanceolate, mostly 5-7 cm, occasionally longer, midrib and lateral veins prominent below; margin entire or toothed. Flowers mostly solitary, axillary, yellow, c. 2 cm in diameter, sweetly scented. Fruit pendulous, ovoid, fleshy, 1.5 cm long, yellow to orange. |
