Zambia, Ndola |
Notes: | Robinson described a new species from Ndola naming it S. calcicola. The name has not been accepted and the specimens he cited have been assigned by Kew to S. pulchellaRidley or S. pergracilis. More recently specimens from Lusaka have been assigned to the latter by Sosef. The final answer will require further collecting and research, but in the meantime it seems reasonable to use this name. “When fresh whole plant smells strongly of Lemon-scented Verbena,“ Robinson |
