Description: |
Perennial 40-130 cm high. Culms 3-angled, few to many arising from bases at the ends of short curved scaly stolons. Inflorescence very variable, capitate or simple, with several heads, paniculate with dense clusters of spikelets, or with few to many stalked spikelets. Involucral bract 1, leaf-like. Perianth of 6 equal bristles. Glumes golden brown. |
