Delicate annual up to 25 cm tall, very slender, erect or ascending; leaf lamina 3–7 cm × 1–2.5 mm, flat, flaccid, glabrous or loosely pilose.Panicle 2–7 cm long, ovate or oblong, very loose with capillary branches.Spikelets 2–2.5 mm long, oblong-cuneate; inferior glume 1.5–2 mm long; superior glume as long as the spikelet; lemmas 1–1.3 mm long, ovate-oblong, the awn up to 6 mm long. |
