At Kakulwe stream, seasonally innundated grasslands (dambo). Fine, red, sandy, granitic soils. Serenje District; 7.0 km E-SE of the junction with Serenje-Mpika road, on road to Chisomo. 0Zambia1330A4 CC1350Shrub; 1.5 m, branched at base. Stems grey-tan, rough. Leaves soft pubescent. Calyx green with red tips. Petals bright purple-pink, style magenta, filaments yellow, anthers purple-pink. Fruits red. On edges of drying swamp.-13.35555630.3494445
