Perennial, erect herb; stems simple or sparsely branched. Leaves alternate, scale-like, entire. Flowers medium-sized, terminally racemose, pedicellate, bi-bracteolate. Calyx campanulate, shortly 5-lobed; corolla 5-lobed, lobes broad, entire, subequal, erect, spreading, tube enlarged above, somewhat incurved. Ovary bilocular. Ovules numerous. Worldwide: One known species in Zambia. Zambia: 1 taxon. |
