Phyllaries unequal, increasing in size to the inside, numerous. Corolla purple or mauve. Achenes various. Pappus consisting of one series of a few caducous barbellate setae or 0. Worldwide: 30 species occurring in tropical Africa. Zambia: 10 taxa. |
