Description:
Terrestrial herb 40–70 cm high. Stem leafy with 8-12 leaves, lanceolate, up to 10 cm, long, lowermost sheathing, upper ones grading into bracts. Inflorescence 10–20 cm long, fairly densely many-flowered; bracts lanceolate, up to 27 mm long, overtopping the flowers. Flowers curving outwards, green outside, yellowish inside. Dorsal sepal broadly lanceolate, convex, 6-7 mm long; lateral sepals spreading, oblong or oblong-elliptic, a bit longer and narrower than dorsal sepal. Petals entire, narrowly lanceolate, c. 5.5 mm long, curved. Lip 3-lobed with undivided base c. 2 mm long; all lobes narrowly lanceolate, 5.5–7 mm long, the mid-lobe longer and broader than the side lobes, pointing outwards; spur 5–6 mm long.

Habitat: Montane grassland.
