Description:
Plants up to 80 cm tall growing from ovoid to elliptic wooly tubers 2-4 x 1-2 cm; stem erect and leafy; leaves 7-10, lowest 1-2 ±sheathing, mid stem leaves erect to semi-spreading, largest 6-14 x 1-3.5 cm, lanceolate, upper leaves bract-like; inflorescence 8-28 x 7.5-10 cm, laxly 2- few flowered; pedicel and ovary up to 9.5 cm long; bracts leafy, to 8 cm long, shorter than pedicel and ovary; flowers green and white, showy, scented; dorsal sepal erect, 11-16 x 10-11 mm, ovate, convex; lateral sepals deflexed, c. 20 x 9 mm, obliquely semi-ovate; petals 2-lobed ± to base, upper lobe attached to dorsal sepal, linear, 11-16 x 1.5-3 mm, lower lobe deflexed, 20-32 mm x 3.5-5.5 mm, lanceolate; lip 3-lobed with undivided base c. 4 mm long, mid-lobe oblong, 15-28 x 2.5-6 mm, side lobes 20-32 x 4-7 mm, the inner edge straight and outer edge curved.spur 13-17 cm long, pendent, swollen in the apical third.
