Perennial herb up to 25 cm tall from a tuberous root; stem with scattered slender hairs; leaves subsessile, lanceolate to linear-lanceolate, c. 8 x 1 cm, margins crisped,covered in filamentous hairs; cymes terminal and axillary, 3-5-forked; bracts forming bract-cup up to 8.5 x 10 mm, midribs prominent, margins undulate; cyathia c. 4 x 4 mm; capsules c. 4.5 x 4 mm, 3-lobed. |
