Cathormion (Benth.) Hassk.

Description of the genus

Trees and shrubs. Young shoots with spines. Leaf bipinnate; lateral veins of leaflets fine and clearly visible on both surfaces. Pod splitting transversely into segments each containing one seed.

Worldwide: A genus of 1-3 species in Africa, one in Asia and Australia and c. 7 in tropical and South America.

Zambia: 1 taxon.
